The best way to use the interface is once you unzip the collection, right-click on MajorGeeksWindowsTweaks.exe and choose "run as administrator." This will make your life way easier later. All while keeping the program itself 100% portable. It allows you to browse each category in a more friendly manner, search for the tweak you like, preview the scripts prior to applying, apply a tweak, and access the tutorial in just a few clicks. Written by the super geeky author at Alomware, the interface is just what we needed. Or, after version 2.96, you can use the MajorGeeksWindowsTweaks.exe to navigate for you. You can either browse through the files and folders one at a time in file explorer. Often, these apps use mostly registry and command prompt changes allowing us to offer you tweaks that aren't found (Registry, PowerShell, Visual Basic, Shortcuts, and Batch Files) in most tweaking apps. There are numerous excellent tweaking programs, but they are limited by design. Because we're not limited by code, we can offer you system tweaks not found in any other Windows tweaker.Īnother interesting feature is opening any file to see what changes are being made and, in some cases, customize before you apply. You can browse the collection, delete or move any tweaks you like, and create a custom collection of your favorite tweaks.
